Evening all!
Well, I hope you all had fun trick or treating and are now tucking into your pumpkin pie in front of the special edition of Come Dine With Me on Channel 4+1.  As you can see, Mr Pink has been out and about today - but stayed nice and cosy in his new snood.  Okay, I lie, Mr Pink has been sat on top of my wardrobe but was more than happy to model my latest creation - knitted in front of Dr Zhivago whilst I was recovering

from tonsillitis.  Luckily I am feeling much better now, but was ill for long enough to add to my "Poker" and "His 'n' Hers" crafty collections.  My playing card symbol smellies are scented with lavender to hang in a wardrobe or about the house and my dollies are a fun addition to any sofa or bed.

In other news...
South London, I miss you.  The other weekend I returned to my old stomping ground Oval - and soon regretted ever leaving.  Now, I know Oval isn't exactly Hoxton, but I reckon it's on the up.  I was introduced to a wonderful cafe bar, Cable, on Brixton Road - think French vintage chic with tasty dark beer, plenty of vin rouge
So, why have my trusty sewing machine and I been so busy?  Well, because...drum roll... on Saturday 17th November I shall be trading at the Wonderhill Market in Tooting!  Come and see me at the Tooting Tram and Social Club, Mitcham Road SW17 - visit http://www.wonderhillmarket.co.uk for more details.

and very cool vintage decor.  I am tempted to go back just to enjoy the ambience over one of their super thick hot chocolates and a good book - or even for an afternoon of writing.  And, if I want a change of scene, I can always pop over the road to Canterbury Court which apparently has space for creatives to get down to business.  For a spot of pub grub and a bit of liveliness after a productive day, you could do worse than an evening in the Brown Derby on Clapham Road, too.
So, if you are passing through south London on the Northern Line, stop off at Oval - and, whilst you are there, take a walk down Caldwell Street and say hello to my old flat!
Have a great week everyone - maybe I'll see you at Battersea Park's Bonfire and firework display on Saturday night...

Here you will find my latest news, including what I have been up to and what I have been writing (and making).  Hopefully you'll like what I have to say - and perhaps I will motivate you to get creative too...
